Press Release: HECO Engineers

Payette, ID — Holladay Engineering Company, an established engineering firm based in the Idaho Treasure Valley, announced that the company will begin operating under a new trade name and will be known as HECO Engineers, effective immediately.

President John Blom said “We all live in a world that is continually adapting and changing.  Our name change reflects Holladay Engineering’s tradition of responsiveness to our clients through expanding the depth and range of our engineering services. Holladay Engineering has established a reputation of providing our clients with responsive, quality, engineering services, tailored to their specific needs.  As we rebrand our company, there has been no change in management and we will continue to provide the same high level of service on which we have built our reputation.”

The company was founded in 1982 in the Treasure Valley.  The premise from the beginning was to establish an engineering group that could assist small communities whom could not staff an engineer.  A unique idea that has developed purpose and method for the past 30 years.  HECO has stayed with this role through the life of the company, and believes in this idea more than ever today as they expand to work on larger projects throughout the Northwest.

About HECO Engineers.

HECO Engineers has provided city and county engineer services as the municipality’s appointed engineer for over 30 years.  HECO Engineers understands the importance of planning and preparation as communities grow and connect. Typical of smaller communities, staff resources and available capital is often limited.  In our role as appointed Engineer, we address challenges with recommendations of how the City can proceed with implementation schedules for funding and improvements. We routinely assist in preparing feasibility studies, assist in identifying grant and loan funding scenarios, and help facilitate the application and administration process of funding programs. Holladay Engineering seeks to apply innovative approaches to traditional municipal problems. We can provide our clients with a variety of options and cost reducing opportunities by staying informed of new materials and technological changes in the industry. Holladay Engineering is open to new ideas in the context of sound professional services. Holladay Engineering’s broad range of public involvement and experience has provided the opportunity to serve as knowledgeable consultants on several technical guidance committees. Working with these committees has given us the opportunity to support our clients by providing input on rules and legislation critical to local governments, counties, and the legislature.
