WHO WE ARE

HECO Engineers first began in 1982 in the Idaho Treasure Valley.

The premise from the beginning was to establish an engineering group that could assist small communities who could not staff an engineer. This unique idea serving our foundation has developed purpose and method over the course of 40 years now.

HECO has stayed consistent in this role throughout the life of the company while taking on new projects with private companies, municipalities, and the U.S. National Park Service.

History Highlights

Origin

HECO Engineers first started its journey as Holladay Engineering Company in 1982 in Payette, Idaho. Founded by Mike Holladay and Vern Brewer.

Relocation

Located on 1431 S Main Street in 1997, HECO (still Holladay Engineering) relocated their office to the heart of downtown Payette when flooding made the move necessary.

Identity

The company changed their name from Holladay Engineering Company to HECO Engineers. Same great company and same expert team of engineers with a few less syllables.

Growth

With a higher demand for engineering services and so we could provide more for our clients, HECO opened a second office in Nampa has since added Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Land Development to our ever increasing list of services.
