Since 2010, HECO has completed over 250 task orders for the National Parks Service (NPS). This includes large scale projects for parks such as Yosemite, Death Valley, and Olympic National Park. While we have maintained a strong presence on the west coast, we are pleased to announce that we will be expanding our services to the eastern United States! Through our contract with the NPS small business pool, HECO has been awarded task orders for the following locations:
-
Florida, Biscayne National Park
-
Tennessee, Chickamauga & Chattanooga National Military Park
-
Kentucky, Mill Springs Battlefield National Monument
-
South Carolina, Congaree National Park
-
New York, Gateway National Recreation Area
-
Texas, Big Bend National Park (as a subconsultant to Stantec)
Over the past month, Joe Eixenberger, Hayder Al-Salih, and Bart Brooke have each performed site visits of these locations, and we will be revealing details about each upcoming project in upcoming weeks. We have recently updated our projects page to display our new National Parks interactive map. Click below to learn about some of our previous work with the National Parks Service.

HECO has long prided itself in the ability to offer a large variety of services to fill a multitude of community needs. As this eastern expansion shows, our projects are not limited by location. In the long run, we look forward to offering our clients an even an even greater level of expertise and flexibility of service thanks to this experience.
Drone flights:
HECO is expanding our land development service. We currently have several subdivisions and commercial projects taking place across the Treasure Valley. This gives us a good opportunity to get the drone out and film some aerial footage! Check out our latest video of Sunflower Court Subdivision.
