Replacement of Docks and Bulkhead

Whiskeytown National Recreation Area purchased and installed new dock slips and gangway for park operations at the Headquarters waterfront area. These items were prefabricated items supplied by California Custom Docks. A new pier supporting the shoreside of the gangway was designed by BergerABAM. HECO (then Holladay Engineering) was the prime consultant and managed the project. The new pier is fully accessible and provides points of connection for all utilities required at the boat slips.

Design of the new pier included all utilities and appurtenances such as hand rails. The park constructed the pier with their own staff. BergerABAM provided design drawings sufficiently descriptive to construct the pier. Drawings were stamped by a BergerABAM professional engineer registered in the State of California.
